The 2026 NSF Chemistry Early Career Investigator Workshop will be held May 31 to June 2, 2026 in Alexandria, Virginia. The workshop will bring pre-tenure faculty from a broad range of institutions and areas of expertise together with established investigators and NSF program officers to discuss strategies for crafting research ideas, planning educational and broader impacts activities, and assessing and evaluating project goals.

The workshop is organized by Prof. Davita Watkins from The Ohio State University and Prof. Sarah Tasker from Franklin & Marshall College.
